100% Superwash New Zealand Polwarth Wool

Soft, strong and lustrous.
Polwarth is an old sheep breed combining 75% merino and 25% Lincoln. The fibre is similar to merino but has a bit more sheen, springy and lustrous. It is worsted spun from long staple fibres to produce a yarn that is silky and smooth. It feels tougher than Merino and has good stitch definition. Ideal for socks, gloves, jumpers and items that require some strength. Takes up the dye well to produce strong and vibrant colours.
